Memorial Day Weekend

Well this is what our Memorial Day Weekend started out like...
Friday evening I was constantly chasing two 18 month olds around our house. I kept Reagan while Trent and Whitney went to a wedding rehearsal. Reagan loves her paci, and Addison loves to take away Reagan's paci. So these pictures say it all. Addison followed Reagan around, pulling on her, until she conquered the paci!

We woke up Saturday and decided to go out to Trey's parents house on Kentucky Lake. We arrived there around 2:30 and to our surprise Trey's parents had bought this...

So Addison took her first ride on the new wave-runner!
We also took it for a ride as a family!
Trey's sister (Angela) was in town with her two kids for the holiday weekend. So it was a great time for the entire family. We grilled hamburgers Saturday night and had mac n cheese and baked beans. Then we all hit the sack, woke up Sunday and did it all again. What a great way to kick off the SUMMER!
LOVE!

Great way to take a nap!
Last but not least, Thank you to all the service men and woman who sacrifice themselves for all of us and our freedom. God Bless YOU!
Happy Memorial Day!

Reception

On Saturday, May 21st, my mother, sister (Jessy) and I all hosted a reception for my little sister and her husband Trent Ballard. They were married on May 14th, in beautiful Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Ocho Rios also happens to be the destination of our honeymoon. A total of approx. fifty people attended. During the reception we ate dinner, watched the wedding video, and listened to three toasts given to the newlyweds. Whitney's best friend, Lindsey Hays, wrote one of the toast. She was unable to attend and therefore Danyel McCusiton read it aloud. The other two toasts were given by Tracy Ballard (Trent's brother) and Jeff Ballard (Trent's father). Jessy and I got in trouble for not preparing our own toast. Several people told us to hurry up and think of something. Grandmother told us the least we could do was welcome Trent to the family. The two of us had been too busy prepping for the reception. I believe fun was had by all. Here are several photos of the night.

The Ballards

My beautiful little sis just married her best friend in Ocho Rios, Jamaica today. My mom, sister, brother-in-law, Griffin, Jeff Ballard and myself all watched the wedding via Skype. Of course, Reagan and Addison were there too! Watching the wedding was a little rough at times with a bad connection, but it was all worth it. I would not have changed a thing about it. It was wonderful to be about to see my little sister marry the love of her life. We are so happy for the two of you and wish the best for the both of you. We love you!
We will be celebrating the nuptials with a reception on May 21st!  So stay tuned for more...
