WOW.

My sister-in-law totally out did herself for her kids birthday party this year! The party was a huge carnival with games, food, water slide, and SWEETS galore! She had an entire table devoted to sweets alone...

Our morning started off with a special breakfast since it was Reese's actual 6th birthday! Reese had "bears in the snow" (bear shaped pancakes with powdered sugar, chocolate chips, and sprinkles). Everyone else enjoyed pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

Then the party began at 11:00 AM. As the guests arrived they were given a goody tote with their 20 tickets to participate in the games. All the games had restrictions for the amount of tickets required and also for certain big or little prizes, and there were a ton of prizes for all the kids to chose.

Carnival games!
It was a blast for all the kids. Carter even went on to say it was his favorite birthday party yet!
The food served was all cardival theme. Hotdogs, corndogs, cotton candy, icees, nachos and cheese, soft pretzels, and popcorn!

I did not see a detail left out from the entire theme!

Face Painting and Clowns!

Water Sliding!

After about an hour of playtime and eatting it was time for the guests to gather inside and watch the kids open all their gifts and eat even more!

Of course, it is not a party without the cake!

Addison and Granddad even had time to enjoy oreo pops together!

Did I even mention that all this planning was done 3 weeks post operation! Yeah, she is a go-getter!

Outstanding party planning skills, Angela! It was a huge success! Let's see you top this one next year!

Style Watch.

Today we hit another milestone when it comes to the Long Style Watch. Addison endured her very first haircut today! She sat very patiently while the only "Aunt Roo" cut and styled her new do. While at the Essential Day Spa she also got the full treatment with her hair, and nails. She is sporting a very pink nail polish on both her fingers and toes, that Addison herself picked out. The new statement for toddlers, these days (so I hear). Addison's style is so cool, she has been telling everyone "I get my haircut."

I was proud of my little girl who is growing by leaps and bounds. She was very still and attentive through the entire process, and even let Jessy put it up in dog tails with a little braid. Which by the way, is another thing to be looking for in toddlers this fall! Pig tails are sooooo outdated! If any of you other toddlers need to be all fixed up, just give the one and only Aunt Jess a call...

Thank you "Aunt Jessy" for keeping me in style and so CUTE!

HUGS AND KISSES!
