Full Heart.

My heart is sooo full after such a splendid day with my little family. Saturday we woke up had a cup of coffee and then bundled up to go outside and enjoy the first snow of 2014! Most of the time I get so caught up in the day to day routine that I forget to just get out and enjoy the time with my family but this was not that kind of day! I did not worry about my hair, my make-up, what I was going to wear, or the amount of money that was going to be spent. All that mattered was getting outside and playing with my family!

I lost count of all the snowballs thrown my way!

Trey even built Addison her first snowman. Addison named him Olaf!

My days like these are numbered as the countdown to getting back into the work routine is on. I am enjoying the small things and filling my heart with incredible memories.

Bonus: This also allowed me to cross an item off that Bucket List.

January.

The first of our 2014 has been extremely low key. We have had several weeks worth of extreme cold temps that has kept us indoors screaming for Spring. Addison has a newfound love for the cartoon "Teen Titans" and I have watched the entire season of  "Friday Night Lights."
Due to the cold temperatures most of our days are just our day to day routine of getting up, brushing our teeth, grabbing a cup of joe, and lounging in our jammies all day.

In January, we took a short weekend family trip to visit Aunt Lindy in Tennessee, welcomed my precious nephew Jack Collins Ballard to the family, and had a few playdates with cousins and friends.
Below are a few pics captured during the first month of 2014!

I am so thankful for a job that allows me four full months of lounging around in my jammies with my little one, and for a husband that works his tail off so that we can afford it.
