Splashing Saturday.

What a great way to begin our summer! 

Addison has done nothing but play in the water all day today and it has been endless fun.

We began this morning at 9:30AM when we put on her swimsuit and proceeded outside for a little fun on the new water playmat.

The mat was a new investment and I can already tell I'm going to get every bit of my $10 out of it! It is too much fun!

When Trey woke up he decided to get a little work done so he got out the pressure washer and started out cleaning off the back deck. 

Off course Trey ended up playing more then working...

Addison loved her dad spraying her and kept saying "Again Daddy, Again." 

I decided in order for Trey to accomplish anything I was going to have to get Addison away. So we headed into town to grab some lunch. We brought lunch home and enjoyed it inside in the air conditioning for a short little bit and then it was time to go back outside and play.

When 3:00 rolled around we packed up and headed to the park with cousins to enjoy much more water fun! We made a trip to the splash park and had a blast!

It was so much fun the adults had to participate too!

The day ended with a little trip to the DQ for ice cream! Addison fell asleep shortly after arriving home! Water play is exhausting!

My 3rd Mother's Day.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day again this year! Being a mother is such an awesome experience along with being a huge responsibility. I am astonished that God has chosen me to be the caregiver of such a smart, beautiful, caring, and tiny individual! Being a mother is most definitely the most challenging job I have along with being the most rewarding! When I receive the biggest hug from my 2 year old and hear the words " I love you mommy" my heart just melts!
This Mother's Day we spent lunch with my Mother and Grandmother! Two women who have molded me into the person I am today! Also, two of the most important in my life! I also spent it with two other wonderful mother's, my beautiful sisters Jessy and Whitney.

After lunch we went over to my Grandmother Nancy's to visit. My dad came into town too! So it was a great chance to catch-up and enjoy the beautiful weather outside! Along with some strawberry cake...

The day was not over yet though! I came home to my wonderful in-laws and received some outstanding Mother's Day gifts! I got two beautiful planters with Hibiscus flowers, from my in-laws!

Addison and Trey got me an iphone! After receiving gifts we went out to dinner at August Moon!

Another great mother, mother-in-law and Mima! We love you and appreciate everything you do for our family! You are an outstanding example of what a mother should be!
