4th Birthday Party.

This year for Addison's 4th birthday she and I decided to go with an Ice Cream theme...

This party was so fun to put together. We celebrated at my mom's house on Addison's actual birthday on a Sunday afternoon. Flavors of ice cream available were vanilla, chocolate, and birthday cake. The toppings were marshmallows, chocolate chips, cherries, sprinkles, Oreo cookies, Nutter Butter cookies, and gummy worms. I also had waffle cones, baby cones, and root beer for floats.

Addison definitely enjoys all of the attention!  She loved everyone singing Happy Birthday to her.

She had so much fun with her family and friends.

After her party we had our own little family of three birthday celebration at Los Portalos. These few images are from my IPhone.

I loved getting to celebrate Addison and who she is.

Disney.

Back in May we had our annual family vacation but this time it involved the most magical place! Addison flew on her first airplane ride to Orlando, Florida to visit Disney World! We spent an entire week hopping from park to park....

An appointment at the Bippity Boppity Boutique got us princess ready!

Our Princess.

The last day of vacation we went over to Universal Studios where Addison rode her very first real Roller coaster! Addison has not stopped talking about a roller coaster since! She loved every bit of it and begs to ride another one almost daily!

This trip was a blast and we made so many family memories to last forever! The arguments we had (over what to do next, or where to go) were minimal compared to the memories that were made.

Happy In Love.

Addison and myself have had some extra bonding time this Valentine's week! Monday night we took some time for a mother/daughter baking experience. Addison loves to help me in the kitchen and insists on sitting on the counter top everytime I am in the kitchen! So Addison and I decided to bake some brownies with pink frosting and add valentine "sparkles"!

While the brownies were baking she was ready to tackle her valentines.

Trey and I had to celebrate our own little Valentine's on Wednesday night. Since Trey works in the restaurant business it is a requirement that he work on Valentine's night so we always have to arrange a different time for our Valentine's celebration/date. This year we headed to Paducah and ate at one of our favorite hibachi spots. Mima and Granddad kept Addison at their house for a few hours.
On actual Valentine's Day I took Addison to her daycare so she could enjoy her "school" Valentine's party. Afterwards, we went to my grandmother's and she enjoyed all her sweet little goodies from all her friends! Gigi also came over to the house with Valentine treats of her own!

I hope everyones Valentine's Day was full of love! Whether it be for the love of Jesus Christ, spouses, family, or friends! Praise be to God for the power of LOVE!

Boy or Girl?

Any reason to have family and food together is a good excuse!

I love getting my family together but what better excuse to get together than to celebrate the addition of a new family member. A gender reveal party was the perfect opportunity to get family and food involved and have a great time!
This morning Jessy, Seth, and Griffin all took off to the 20 week check-up and ultrasound. The plan was for Seth and Griffin to find out the sex. Jessy decided to wait and find out along with the rest of the family. So while the ultrasound technician determined the sex she had Jessy turn around and not peek. After the appointment, Seth got all his supplies ready and decorated the box that was to hide the surprise!
Tonight we all gathered together at my mother's house to reveal the gender of the newest French member! It was such a exciting occasion and something new in the books! The first thing on the agenda was for everyone to cast their vote.
Then we had pizza, lasagna, salad, and French bread for dinner and afterwards the surprise was revealed!

Seth did a great job putting the box together!

Family looking at ultrasound pictures before the reveal...

Jessy's expression!

It' a...BOY!

Griffin is so excited to add another boy to the mix and be a big brother!

I cannot wait to meet this special baby boy! What a true blessing from up above!
A great addition to this crazy mix...

Christmas is Wrapped.

We had another outstanding Christmas season filled with several activities and time well spent with family and friends.
We went to the annual Christmas parade in Murray, looked at Christmas lights in Draffenville and Murray, decorated Christmas cookies with cousins, visited Santa and much more!

It even snowed Christmas night so we got to go out and play for a little bit before Carter and Reese headed back home!

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas season and celebrated the true meaning and biggest blessing of all! Jesus Christ our Savior!
