We have a gold medalist in our house this week too! The winner of our gold medal belongs to Addison. We have officially gone an entire week using this...

and wearing "Big Girl Panties."

I am one proud mother! We have worked so hard to get to this point and finally achieved it!

A Catch-Up of Summer.

The Long household has been super busy enjoying the summer months fully! We love this time of year where it is full of lake outings, Independence Day, fireworks, swimming, cook-outs, and much much more. We have been running around trying to take everything in until fall arrives and new things begins!

We have celebrated Father's Day with a weekend at the lake!

We have celebrated Independence Day with cook-outs, fireworks, and a parade.

We hosted a baby shower for our sweet friends from Georgia and their baby boy, Ethan!

We also attended my cousin's wedding...

where the little ones danced the night away...

Trey and family celebrated another birthday! The big 31!

Also Addison had her first movie theater experience. We took her to the afternoon showing of ICE AGE 4 on a Sunday. Addison got to enjoy her very own kids pack with a special drink of Sprite for her very first movie! Addison did well throughout the movie until the end drew near and then she got a little wiggly and wanted to stand up.

The summer is not over yet, and we are looking forward to a few more lake outings, birthdays, and spur of the moment ideas for family fun!

Loving the Sunshine State.

We had another successful trip down to the sunshine state! Our trip was back the week of May 26th-June 2nd! While in Florida we had an absolute blast! Addison woke up every morning ready to go to the water and "wim" with "CarterReese."

We spent a ton of time in the water! Whether it be in the ocean or in the pool!

We also did a bunch of throwing, and boogie boarding.

With a little bit of sand castle building to change things up a little bit.

After the fun in the sun was over we went inside and got all pretty to go out and have dinner! We had to hit all the good normal spots, plus we found a new Favorite named Saltwater Grill! A must try if in the Panama City Beach area! (http://www.saltwatergrillpcb.com/) These next two pictures are from Memorial Day!

We also found time to visit Zoo World where we found tigers that were very active, a baby monkey, and fed a giraffe.

After much sun and fun, there came a time where we all had to say Adios Sunshine State... Until we meet 

again!
