Piece of History

On Thursday January 26th, 2012 a cargo boat hit the bridge at Kenlake. This is the bridge that many people must cross to get to Nashville, TN (quickest route). No injuries were reported. This was huge news in our area and was all over facebook for the entire weekend.

A Recap of January

In January we...

had a little bit of snow to go outside and play.

hosted a DQ luncheon at our home.

drew on the walls and all over our body.

attended Kialee Wren Kemp's 1st birthday party.

discovered Mud.

watched the Racers become 21-0 Live at the CFSB Center.

and played a little more Apples to Apples.

Sunday Fun-Day

I love the tradition that my family has of lunch at my Grandmother's after church on Sunday afternoon! It is a tradition that has been going on my entire life and I love that Addison is able to be a part of it today! Addison is making memories with all her sweet little cousins that she will be able to look back on one day and cherish!
Today was another wonderful Sunday well spent with family gathered around the dinner table, good food, and several conversation topics. Sunday's are also always fun for the adults to get together and catch up on the past weeks happenings.

2012.

I know this post is about seven days late but better than never at all! Our good friends from Augusta, Georgia were in town for Christmas and New Years' so most of our time was spent hanging out and playing Apples to Apples!
We had a little get-together at our house to ring in 2012! It was a little unexpected but tons of FUN! Having a few close friends together is always enjoyable.

Champagne toasts were at midnight to celebrate and toast to 2012!
