Count Your Blessings, Name them One by One

Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours!

Instead of listing all things I am thankful for on facebook. I decided to be a little more detailed and make my own personal list:
  • Our Savior Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sins.
  • A husband that loves me unconditionally and who I get to spend the rest of my life beside.

  • A close knit family that is there for me through thick and thin, good or bad.  A mother that is also a best friend and sisters' that I could not imagine living life without! A family that is beautiful inside and out.

  • In-laws that have accepted me into the family and treat me as if I am their own.

  • A best friend that I can confide in and call at any given hour.

  • A place to call home with heat, water, and electricity.

  • A job that I love with the best bosses that anyone could ever ask for.

  • Food on the table
  • My health along with my family and extended family.
  • Last but certainly not least. The birth of my daughter two years ago today. My precious angel sent from heaven and definitely the biggest blessing.

Happy Birthday Addison!

Before the Holidays Hit...

This weekend has been a laid back, relaxing weekend. I have enjoyed it to the fullest extent and have relished in it before the big holiday week hits us. Friday we all three spent the night in watching Follow that Bird, Yo Gabba Gabba, and dancing and listening to Christmas music. Addison and I had soooo much fun listening to the Christmas music! I am looking forward to the whole month of December.

Saturday we had company. Carter and Reese came in from Nashville and played with us while their mother went to join Trey and their parents at the Knights of Columbus for the yearly Poker Tournament. So Carter, Reese, Addison and I all went for a walk, played with the neighbors, and watched Toy Story 3 with popcorn and M&Ms. When the poker tournament was over we all went and had dinner at Paglisi's Pizza.

Today was another day in the house full of naps, football and birthday preparations! I have completed one Pinterest project for the party! We also attended the annual Thanksgiving sermon with our sister church Salem Baptist tonight and followed fellowship with a Thanksgiving dinner!

I am trying to get everything finished within the next three days. We are having her party on Friday but with Thanksgiving being Thursday and with Trey and I having plans to hit some Black Friday sales all birthday prep has to be done on Wednesday so I can rest before the party!

Cast-Away

This afternoon we had the cast taken off! Dr. Yezerski took more x-rays and let Trey and I take a peek. There is still a little crack and lots of new bone! Everything is growing back well! The doctor said everything looks good, and continue on without a cast. No jumping on trampolines, riding bikes, jumping off couches, etc. for a few more weeks. We go back on November 28th to take another look!

Lions, Tigers, and Bears, in October. OH, MY!

October was a Spooktacular month!

During October we had one filled month. I have a list full of several activities that we enjoyed as a family...

1. We celebrated the love of two wonderful friends. Marty and Amberly were married on October 15th! Trey and I were both honored to be a part of such a wonderful occasion. Trey was a groomsman and I was a bridesmaid! Addison even added to the special occasion with a touch of her own! After Amberly's cousin sang beautifully, Addison wanted everyone to know she enjoyed it with a loud "WOOHOO"!
Throughout the day we also celebrated MY BIRTHDAY!

After the ceremony we walked to the Bullpen for the reception. We had a great dinner of chicken with tons of sides and then excellent music by the John Sutton Band!

By the looks of this picture everyone was having FUN!

2. We visited Wurth Farms Pumpkins in Paducah.

3. We celebrated my Birthday again...

4.We celebrated Granddad's birthday at Patti's on Sunday October 30th.
5. We also attended Sinking Springs Holy-ween party! During the party the kids knocked on the Sunday School rooms and were given tons of candy!

6. Last but not least, we went trick or treating! Addison was the cutest little Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. Addison also loved to say "Teet ot Teet." We made several stops which included Grandmother Nancy's, Vanessa Harrison's, Applebee's, Dairy Queen, Grandma's and Gigi's!

I hope everyone had a spooktacular October!

I believe this was sucker #3!
