Our morning started off with a special breakfast since it was Reese's actual 6th birthday! Reese had "bears in the snow" (bear shaped pancakes with powdered sugar, chocolate chips, and sprinkles). Everyone else enjoyed pancakes, eggs, and bacon.
Then the party began at 11:00 AM. As the guests arrived they were given a goody tote with their 20 tickets to participate in the games. All the games had restrictions for the amount of tickets required and also for certain big or little prizes, and there were a ton of prizes for all the kids to chose.
Carnival games!
It was a blast for all the kids. Carter even went on to say it was his favorite birthday party yet!
The food served was all cardival theme. Hotdogs, corndogs, cotton candy, icees, nachos and cheese, soft pretzels, and popcorn!
I did not see a detail left out from the entire theme!
Face Painting and Clowns!
Water Sliding!
After about an hour of playtime and eatting it was time for the guests to gather inside and watch the kids open all their gifts and eat even more!
Of course, it is not a party without the cake!
Addison and Granddad even had time to enjoy oreo pops together!
Did I even mention that all this planning was done 3 weeks post operation! Yeah, she is a go-getter!
Outstanding party planning skills, Angela! It was a huge success! Let's see you top this one next year!

Awwww my sweet sister-in-law, Misty!! What Misty failed to mention in her very sweet write-up about the party is the SHE herself did MAJOR work the night before and morning of to help ensure the party's success! Without her help and the help of my wonderful parents and Andy, this party would never have happened! I love my sweet, wonderful family so much and am more grateful and thankful than they realize for all they did to help my angels celebrate their birthdays. I love you, Aunt Misty!!
