To start off our weekend, on Friday night we went to Applebee's to celebrate my sister, Jessy's 28th birthday!
It is always fun to have my family together and celebrate someone special! Happy Birthday Jessy!
Poor Trey had to work while everyone else was enjoying themselves.
On Saturday, we woke up and headed to the Benton City Park to visit with the Easter bunny and hunt for eggs. This particular hunt was more about the golden eggs. We did not know about the golden eggs until after the hunt. You better believe that next year we will be using our eagle eyes and scouting for those particular eggs! If you find a golden egg you win BIG prizes such as bicycles, wagons, filled-baskets, etc.
Look at all those eggs!
and rode the golf cart...
When Mima made it home from work we went to the marina and enjoyed a little boat ride down Kentucky Lake, with a couple bottles of wine. We rode on the boat to check out the broken bridge.
Addison had no problem putting on her life jacket this year! Yippee!
After the boat ride we went back to the house and had dinner! We had bbq, potato salad, and baked beans! The adults had "adult time" while playing poker and the kids went on to bed to let the Easter bunny make his visit!
Sunday morning the Easter Bunny had all sorts of goodies sitting out at Mima and Granddad's house!
Addison's favorite gift was her Batman jammies!
On Sunday we woke up and got ready for yet another Easter egg hunt at Mike Miller Park. This egg hunt was a neat one! They had little toys and gifts set out along with the eggs. So everyone won something a little more special. Some eggs also had a piece of paper that said you had won a prize! Addison won three chocolate bunnies! Just what she needed!
These are all the eggs Addison collected! They had soooo many laid out! Below is all the different toys that were laying out!
We also managed to get a few family pictures!
What a glorious weekend we had!
